Content Operations Specialist
Surrey, BC | Full-Time | In-Office
$50,000 - $70,000/year
You’re the person who loves to see the reaction when posting content…
You notice when one word is off in the caption. You probably reorganize folders without being asked. You’ve used Claude to speed something up just because you were curious if it could. You’ve clipped videos for fun, rewritten headlines 14 times to make them better, and maybe lost an embarrassing amount of time watching really good brand content thinking, “Damn… that’s smart.”
You’re equal parts:
- Content coordinator
- Creative problem solver
- Organizer
- Communicator
- Operator
- “Let me fix that real quick”
And if creating order out of creative chaos sounds exciting to you, keep reading.
What We’re Building
At Keirton, we build advanced technology for processing cannabis. We’ve spent years helping shape one of the fastest-growing industries on the planet through innovation, product development, and a relentless drive to improve.
But we’re not just building machines.
We’re building systems, stories, brands, experiences, and a team full of people who genuinely care about doing great work together.
We believe if you get the right people, in the right place, with the right tools, something special happens.
Right now, our marketing team is growing, and we’re looking for a Content Operations Specialist to help us build a smarter, faster, more organized content engine.
This is an entry-level role. This is not a passive support role. We’re looking for someone who likes momentum, solves problems proactively, and helps keep projects moving.
You’ll have real responsibility from day one.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
You’ll help keep content moving across all major channels while helping us build scalable systems behind the scenes.
Some days that means:
- Publishing content across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, blogs, and email campaigns
- Repurposing long-form content into short-form clips
- Writing captions and supporting copy using AI tools
- Organizing digital assets so the team can actually find things later
- Coordinating freelancers, editors, photographers, and creative vendors
- Helping keep projects moving forward without constant follow-up
- Attending demos, trade shows, customer interviews, grow tours, and internal meetings to help capture better content
- Building smarter workflows and SOPs that make the marketing team more effective over time
Other days?
It means solving problems nobody saw coming and figuring things out as you go.
We like those days too.
What You’ll Need To Bring
You do not need 10 years of experience.
You do need curiosity, initiative, follow-through, and strong digital instincts.
We’re probably going to get excited about you if you:
- Are highly organized naturally
- Communicate clearly and confidently
- Are comfortable juggling multiple moving projects
- Genuinely enjoy content, media, branding, or storytelling
- Know your way around Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
- Have basic video editing skills
- Already use AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude regularly
- Enjoy improving systems and workflows
- Notice details other people miss
- Take initiative without waiting to be asked
- Can move quickly without everything becoming chaos
Bonus points if:
- You’ve managed social accounts before
- You’ve coordinated freelancers or creative projects
- You’re weirdly passionate about organization systems
- You can spot a typo from across the room
- You have opinions about branding, captions, thumbnails, or content strategy
- You’ve ever thought, “This company’s marketing could be way better.”
What Success Looks Like
Over time, you’ll help us build:
- A consistent, high-output publishing machine
- Organized and searchable digital asset systems
- Smoother marketing workflows
- Faster and more reliable content operations
- Less chaos, more momentum
You’ll help us move faster without losing quality.
That matters here.
