Colin’s Ice Age Mechanical is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator to join our office team—starting with maintenance dispatch overseeing dispatch and scheduling for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services.
This is an, office-based position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude and is mechanically inclined.
What You’ll Do:
Full-Service Dispatch:
- Oversee dispatch for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical service calls in addition to maintenance.
- Prioritize emergency service, routine maintenance, and project work across all trades.
- Collaborate closely with department leads and technicians to align schedules and capacity.
- Help refine systems and processes to support efficient dispatching across the company.
What You Bring:
- Prior experience in dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination (building maintenance or skilled trades an asset).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a cool head under pressure.
- Excellent communication—both with internal teams and external clients.
- Tech-savvy and able to learn dispatching software quickly (MHelpDesk or similar an asset).
- A proactive attitude, and strong communication & computer skills
