Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. Must be available on Wednesday, Thursday and Weekends as required
This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items with attention to presentation, taste, and consistency
- Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist in plating dishes and ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Support the kitchen team with various tasks such as stocking supplies and cleaning as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Must be able to work on Wednesday, Thursday & Weekends
- A passion for serving quality food and providing excellent customer service
