- Work at designated area, follow company’s food safety guideline in properly cleaning and storing all production generated equipment and utensils
- Perform weekly cleaning duties on general areas in the facility, (e.g. wall, hallway)
- Dispose of all waste and recycle according to the recycling program criteria
- Use all sanitation equipment properly and safely
- Work within Work Safe B.C. and in accordance with proper use of chemicals and other physical hazards in the workplace
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements
- Previous janitorial experience preferred
- Must be reliable and available to work all hours of operation including overtime, weekend, holidays, early morning and/or late-night shifts
- Able to work in humid environment
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Physically capable of standing long period of time and lifting, bending and moving objects up to 40 pounds if necessary
