Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Milwright and Certified Electrician to join our team. This dual-role position requires a professional with strong mechanical knowledge, electrical expertise, and the ability to perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards are maintained across our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they lead to failure.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, disassembly, adjustments, and repairs of machinery.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production teams to coordinate repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Milwright with strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment.
- Certified Electrician with valid licensing in accordance with local regulations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., as well as power tools including drills, grinders, and saws.
- Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards or relevant safety protocols.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
