Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control or Lawn Care Exterminator to join our team. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment.
Must have a Landscape or Structural exterminator License
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using sprays, baits, traps, and other methods
- Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client's needs
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and follow-up visits required
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and safety precautions
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively during treatment procedures
- Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring all tools are properly stored and maintained
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during service delivery
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pest control methods and products
- Experience with sales techniques to promote services and upsell treatments
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform inspections and treatments in various environments, including outdoor settings
This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a safe, pest-free environment for our clients. Prior experience with sales or familiarity with farm machinery is a plus but not required. We value professionalism, safety consciousness, and a customer-focused attitude in all our team members.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
