Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lounge Front of House (FOH) Manager to oversee daily operations in our upscale lounge environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing guest experiences, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or the food industry is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise FOH staff, including servers, bartenders, and host team members to deliver outstanding guest service.
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained throughout each shift.
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management (preferably Micros POS).
- Train new team members through interviewing and onboarding processes; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to in accordance with health regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery; assist with food handling when necessary.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests at all times.
Requirements
- Proven supervising or team management experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong background in food service, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
- Previous restaurant management experience preferred; hotel or barista experience is a plus.
- Ability to interview prospective staff members and contribute to hiring decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $40,000.00-$68,247.55 per year
