Overview
We are seeking an exceptionally polished and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and orchestrate the sophisticated operations of our new, high-end Mediterranean and Asian fusion concept. This venue blends an upscale dining experience with a vibrant, high-energy late-night atmosphere, including a substantial bar/cocktail program.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in high end hospitality, impeccable leadership skills, and a profound passion for delivering a five-star guest experience in a dual-concept environment. This role is central to maintaining the culinary vision, service excellence, and profitability of a premium, trend-setting establishment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Orchestrate a seamless transition between the dinner service and the late-night/lounge environment, maintaining a high standard of service and atmosphere throughout.
- Set and enforce elevated service standards focused on anticipatory service, personalized guest recognition, and resolving complex customer relations with discretion.
- Cultivate a refined and sophisticated ambiance that reflects the quality of both the Mediterranean and Asian fusion menus and the premium nightlife component.
- Oversee and manage the floor during peak dining hours and high-volume nightlife periods, actively engaging with VIP clientele and monitoring the flow of service and assist with opening / closing duties.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a highly skilled team across front-of-house (FOH) roles, emphasizing expertise in refined dining service and premium cocktail/wine knowledge.
- Develop comprehensive, specialized training programs that cover high-end service protocols, deep knowledge of the fusion menu's ingredients and cultural origins, and complex beverage pairings.
- Supervise staff to ensure the highest standards of presentation, decorum, and professional conduct are upheld at all times.
Operations, Culinary & Financial Management
- Assist with managing daily financial operations, including high-volume cash and premium credit card transactions, using advanced POS systems
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure the integrity of the Mediterranean and Asian fusion menus, consistency in execution, and excellence in presentation.
- Oversee inventory and procurement for both the kitchen and the high-end bar program (wine, spirits, craft cocktails), focusing on cost control and quality assurance.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and local liquor licensing regulations in a high-volume, multi-concept setting.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in a high-volume, high-end/fine-dining restaurant or sophisticated multi-concept venue.
- Demonstrated experience managing a concept that includes both refined dining and a successful nightlife/lounge component.
- Proven knowledge of complex food service operations with an understanding of diverse culinary traditions (Mediterranean and/or Asian cuisine knowledge is a significant asset).
- Expertise with contemporary POS platforms and comfort with advanced inventory and labour management software.
- Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to inspire a diverse team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced financial acumen in budgeting, labour control, and driving top-line revenue.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining a reputation for luxury hospitality excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
