Restaurant General Manager
Location: Rocky Mountains, Alberta
Join our dynamic and innovative restaurant group as the General Manager! We are seeking a talented and experienced hospitality professional to lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional customer experiences while promoting sales.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, from managing the front-of-house staff to driving sales and revenue. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless customer service, fostering a positive and engaging dining environment, and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize the restaurant's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a high-performing front-of-house team, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and bussers
- Oversee all customer-facing operations, including reservations, seating, and order fulfillment
- Implement sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and increase customer loyalty
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and labor regulations
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that aligns with the company's values
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role within the restaurant industry
- Proven track record of leading and motivating front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service
- Strong sales and revenue management skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
