We are entering a critical phase of growth and are seeking a high-performing Business Developmer to lead expansion, visibility, and strategic partnerships across Ontario.
The Role: Build, Lead, Expand
This is a growth-driving, outward-facing leadership role.
You will be responsible for driving revenue, building strategic partnerships, leading market presence, and converting opportunities into structured, long-term contracts. This includes being highly visible in the community, attending, representing, and leading events that position Modern Angels as a premium healthcare provider.
You are not just maintaining relationships, you are opening doors, closing deals, and building the infrastructure for scale.
Core ResponsibilitiesGrowth & Revenue Generation
- Own and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with aggressive growth targets
- Identify, pursue, and secure new client channels and referral pathways
- Consistently build a strong, qualified pipeline and convert opportunities into revenue
Partnership Development
- Establish and grow relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, retirement residences, clinics, and community leaders
- Position Modern Angels as a preferred and trusted care partner
- Develop long-term, high-value partnerships that drive sustained referrals
Contracts & Proposal Leadership
- Lead the development, writing, and execution of high-quality proposals, service agreements, and partnership contracts
- Translate conversations into structured, compelling, and compliant business documents
- Confidently negotiate terms and close agreements that align with organizational goals
Events, Visibility & Market Presence
- Actively attend, represent, and network at industry events, conferences, and community functions
- Lead and organize events, presentations, and partnership activations to increase brand visibility and generate leads
- Identify and secure opportunities for Modern Angels to exhibit, sponsor, and present
- Build a strong market presence that drives credibility and inbound opportunities
Strategic Execution
- Track, manage, and report on pipeline activity using CRM (Zoho or equivalent)
- Provide leadership with market intelligence, growth insights, and expansion opportunities
- Collaborate internally to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional client experience
What You Bring
- Proven success in business development, partnerships, or healthcare sales
- Strong experience in contract writing, proposal development, and deal negotiation
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close business, and build long-term partnerships
- Experience attending and leading events, networking, and representing a brand in-market
- Deep understanding of the Ontario healthcare landscape is a strong asset
- Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Highly self-directed, strategic, and execution-focused
- Professional presence with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across the GTA and surrounding regions
