Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Packer/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting, packing, and handling goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely deliveries, and maintaining organized packing procedures. Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload items using proper lifting techniques and equipment like dollies.
- Pack items securely for transportation, ensuring protection against damage during transit
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients or storage facilities in a timely manner
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or inventory within client locations
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during moving or driving tasks
Skills
- Experience in moving, packing, or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory handling and storage procedures
