We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist ( only registered ) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to tailor each session to meet the individual needs of clients.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, based on client preferences and needs.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques through ongoing education and training.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients regarding their health conditions.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every client.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to build rapport with clients and understand their needs effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
