Job Summary
We are hiring a Certified Center Rider/Dispatch Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a clean, temperature-controlled consumer packaged goods manufacturing facility in Mississauga, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-spoken Walkie/Centre Rider Operator who wants to expand their operations experience by learning backup dispatch responsibilities.
This role offers a balanced mix of warehouse operations and office-based dispatch support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active while also developing new administrative and coordination skills. You will join a supportive team environment with hands-on training, steady afternoon hours, and the opportunity to grow into a broader operations role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Walkie/Centre Rider safely and efficiently to support order picking and warehouse movement.
- Pick orders accurately in a fast-paced production and distribution environment.
- Provide backup dispatch support in the office when required, including communication and coordination support.
- Assist with daily warehouse operations to help maintain productivity, accuracy, and workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and workplace standards.
- Complete other warehouse and operations duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $21.50 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Shift: Afternoon shift, 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
- Training: Day shift training for approximately one week.
