Overview
Join our urgent care veterinary team as a Part-Time Veterinary Technician! We have a fun team and strive to quality care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Work together with DVM and other staff to provide excellent patient and client care
- Triage patients effectively
- Anesthetize and monitor patients safely
- Obtain and record patient histories
- Perform humane euthanasia
- Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal)
- Perform radiographs
- Maintain cleanliness, sterilization of surgical equipment
- Detailed documentation of procedures
- Record drug, anesthesia, surgical and radiograph logs
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with owners
- Team player with positive and upbeat attitude
Experience
- Completed veterinary technician training and have experience with these skills
- Experience in the veterinary industry is required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically to clients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passionate about animal health, well-being, and providing outstanding client service
We have flexible scheduling with no overnight shifts. You can work one shift a month or several shifts a week.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 24.0 per week
