Job Overview
We are hiring an Experience Host to help deliver live, interactive training virtual reality experiences at a training institute. This is a people-facing role — you’ll engage with trainees, guide them through the experience, and help create an atmosphere that feels friendly, supportive, and fun.
This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, aspiring educators, actors, presenters, or anyone who enjoys working directly with people and technology.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome trainees and introduce them to the experience
- Guide users through sessions and offer help when they need it
- Run the equipment
- Capture short photos or video clips for social media
- Keep the environment upbeat, encouraging, and engaging
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable speaking with individuals and small groups
- Clear, friendly verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Confident using technology in a live, people-facing environment
- Able to manage time and stay organized during sessions
- Reliable transportation
Nice to have:
- Public speaking or presentation experience
- Interest in Virtual Reality (VR,XR) or emerging technology
- Teaching, coaching, or training experience
- Social media, photography, or short-form video experience
Equipment Requirements:
- Access to a laptop and smartphone
- Reliable internet connection
Availability:
This is a part-time casual role running from July through August. Sessions are scheduled around training course dates and typically occur approximately 3 times per week. Most sessions last about 1 hour and are usually scheduled around 1:00 PM.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
