Support Worker

Please note that this position would be for overnight shifts at our North Side Edmonton Centre.
You would be responsible for bringing the child to school in Sturgeon County during the school year. So a driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.
Must have experience working with teens experiencing mental health concerns, including high-risk situations, trauma-informed care, and support strategies.
Responsibilities:

Provide respite care and support with daily activities

Administer medications as instructed

Prepare meals meeting dietary needs

Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes
-
Offer companionship and plan engaging activities

Perform light housekeeping
Qualifications:

Experience in caregiving
-
Knowledge of medication procedures
-
Physical ability to lift and assist

Strong communication and caring attitude

Confidentiality commitment
Requirements:

Valid First Aid

Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check

CFS Intervention Check
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
