Project Manager – Residential Construction
About the Role
CNJ Builders is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential new construction, custom homes, additions, and renovation projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating trades, managing schedules, controlling budgets, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the high standards our clients expect.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews.
- Order materials and ensure timely deliveries.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Monitor project budgets, labour, material costs, and overall profitability.
- Review drawings, scopes, and specifications prior to construction.
- Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and safety.
- Manage inspections, deficiencies, punch lists, and project closeout.
- Process change orders and maintain accurate project documentation using company software.
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to keep work on schedule.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential construction project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and building codes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with construction management software (JobTread, or other platform) is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and the value you bring to our team.
In addition to a competitive base salary, we are open to discussing a performance-based bonus or incentive compensation structure for the right candidate. We believe in rewarding individuals who take ownership, deliver exceptional results, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the company.
A company vehicle will be provided for business use, or alternatively, a monthly vehicle allowance may be offered, depending on the successful candidate's role, experience, and mutual agreement.
Pay: $52,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
