Job Overview
Looking for someone with experience with excavator/skidsteer with water and sewer experience. Having an Air brakes ticket or a class 1 license would be great. Looking for someone who can also get out the the machine and help with installs of pipe, final grades etc and preform basic maintenance.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loader, skidsteer steer, trucks
- Dig up utilitys, preform fine grade work, drive equipment/ materials to site
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport materials between sites or to designated locations
- Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on heavy equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with maintenance activities including minor automotive repairs when necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery including forklifts and other construction equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in industrial settings
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for maintaining equipment functionality
- Ability to operate equipment safely in various weather conditions and terrains
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required
- Prior experience in industrial or construction environments is highly desirable
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
