The opportunity
What this is
Blue Haven Dental is an established general practice, open five years, with a loyal patient base and a backlog of patients ready to be treated. Your schedule will be busy on day one. We are looking for a dentist with two to three years of experience who is ready to do more and has the clinical foundation to back it up. This is not a fill-in chair. You will build lasting relationships with real patients and become the dentist they come back to.
What you will actually do here
Endodontic cases that stay in-house rather than going to a specialist. Surgical extractions. Implant motor and Straumann implants available on site. Minimal sedation with nitrous. Full general scope across exams, restorations, crowns and bridges, and removable prosthetics. This is where your case complexity grows, not plateaus.
You will not be doing it alone
Growing your scope should not mean guessing your way through it. Mentorship is available: you will be working alongside experienced dentists who are available for collaborative case review and second opinions on complex treatment. The intent is simple: the work in front of you gets more interesting every year you are here.
What backs it up
We serve one of Ottawa's fastest-growing communities and have done so for five years. We run on OpenDental with fully digital radiography and a four-handed workflow that keeps the day moving. The team is experienced, the systems work, and the operatories are modern. You come in and focus on dentistry.
The offer, in plain terms
What you earn
Commission-based compensation. With an established patient base and a treatment backlog already on the books, this chair gives a full-time dentist room to build a serious income from day one. Part-time arrangements are also available for the right candidate.
What we need from you
A current Ontario licence and RCDSO registration in good standing. Two to three years in a general practice setting. Genuine clinical comfort with the scope above, in practice and not just in theory. And real warmth with patients. Ours is a diverse, multigenerational community, and they come back because of how you made them feel.
