About the Opportunity
- Job Title: Construction Generalist – Carpentry & Concrete Forming
- Position Type: Full-time, Indefinite
- Hourly Wage: $27.00–$32.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated ability
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
- Overtime: Paid overtime when required; overtime is not routine
- Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

This role is suited to an experienced, well-rounded construction worker with practical skills across carpentry, concrete forming, and general building work.
Applicants should already have meaningful hands-on construction experience, be comfortable working across different stages of a project, and be able to complete assigned work with reasonable independence as part of a crew.
Responsibilities
- Complete concrete forming, stripping, preparation, and related site work
- Assist with the construction of ICF foundations and walls
- Perform rough carpentry, framing, blocking, backing, and general building tasks
- Support concrete pours and complete related preparation and cleanup
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
- Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, and site instructions
- Safely operate common hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Adapt to changing project needs and assist with varied construction tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow company safety policies and Safe Job Procedures consistently
Experience and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on construction experience required
- Four or more years of construction experience strongly preferred
- Practical experience in carpentry, concrete forming, framing, ICF, or residential construction
- Demonstrated ability to use common hand tools and power tools safely and properly
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with reasonable independence
- Strong understanding of jobsite pace, teamwork, quality expectations, and safety requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Reliable personal vehicle and transportation to job sites are mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physically capable of performing construction work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Minimum PPE required: hardhat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and appropriate work clothing
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Apprenticeship training, Red Seal certification, and relevant safety or equipment certifications are assets but are not required. We value demonstrated ability, practical experience, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
