Freelance Content Creator / Videographer
Modern Matter Studio is looking for a reliable freelance content creator to capture photo and video content for one of our industrial clients.
This is a recurring part-time opportunity requiring approximately one site visit per week. Each visit will typically take up to two hours.
You will be responsible for capturing high-quality raw footage based on direction provided by our team and uploading the files after each shoot.
No editing, posting, caption writing, or social media management is required.
Responsibilities
- Visit the assigned client location approximately once per week
- Capture high-quality vertical video footage and supporting photos
- Film a variety of wide, medium, and close-up shots
- Capture employees, equipment, products, processes, and daily operations
- Follow a provided shot list and creative direction
- Organize and upload all raw files after each visit
- Communicate with our team regarding scheduling and shoot requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience capturing content for social media
- A strong understanding of composition, exposure, focus, and camera movement
- The ability to capture stable, properly exposed footage
- Access to your own camera equipment
- Reliable transportation
- The ability to work independently and follow creative direction
- Professional and dependable communication
- Reliable internet access for uploading footage
Experience filming construction, manufacturing, trades, lumber, or industrial businesses is an asset but is not required.
Schedule
- Approximately one site visit per week
- Up to two hours per visit
- Weekday availability is required
- Scheduling will be coordinated in advance
- Potential for additional projects as Modern Matter Studio continues to grow
Compensation
$125–$150 CAD per site visit, depending on experience and equipment.
