The Old York Tavern is seeking a reliable, hard-working and motivated Part-Time Dishwasher to join our team.
We are a neighbourhood tavern with French and American brasserie influence.
We are open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen tools, ensuring that they are available for kitchen staff and servers
- Collaborate with kitchen staff
- Communicate effectively with the team to address any issues or shortages
- Contribute to a positive, energetic atmosphere within the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
