About Credit Union Central of Manitoba
Credit Union Central of Manitoba is the trade association and service provider for Manitoba's credit union system, owned by the province's credit unions. CUCM supports the system through advocacy, research, governance and strategic collaboration, and represents the interests of Manitoba credit unions with government, regulators and other stakeholders.
About This Role
The Member Experience & Engagement Coordinator helps create positive, responsive and engaging experiences for Manitoba's credit unions.
This public-facing role supports member engagement, communications, events and relationship building. Working with colleagues across advocacy, research, member services and operations, you will help turn ideas into action, strengthen connections and demonstrate the value of CUCM's work.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and is motivated by finding better ways to engage and support others.
Key Responsibilities
Member Experience & Engagement

Build positive relationships with members, partners and stakeholders.

Support member outreach, engagement initiatives and participation opportunities.

Coordinate member surveys and help turn feedback into actionable insights.

Identify opportunities to strengthen the member experience.
Marketing & Communications
-
Manage day-to-day social media planning, content, scheduling and monitoring.

Support website content, newsletters, email campaigns and member communications
-
Create basic graphics and digital materials using Canva and approved templates.

Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist on larger design, publication and branding projects.
Events & Industry Programs
-
Support conferences, forums, receptions and other member programs.

Coordinate registrations, participant communications, materials and logistics.
-
Help deliver welcoming, organized and engaging participant experiences.

Coordinate post-event surveys, feedback and evaluations.
Sector, Member & Internal Engagement
-
Support engagement with sector organizations including CULYM, CUMAM and CCUA.
-
Support broader credit union system engagement initiatives in coordination with the Communications team.

Support internal communications, organizational updates and employee engagement initiatives.
-
Coordinate information sharing, feedback collection and engagement opportunities with members, stakeholders and staff.
Platform & Vendor Coordination

Serve as an internal point of contact for outsourced IT vendor support related to access and systems issues.

Coordinate with external technical partners to ensure platform integrations and access protocols function as intended.

Communicate clearly with non-technical users to resolve issues efficiently.
What You Bring
-
Degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
-
2-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, member engagement, customer service and/or event planning and coordination.

Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with members, partners and stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organization, initiative and follow-through across multiple priorities.

Experience with social media, Canva and digital communications tools.

Curiosity and a willingness to learn, try new things and challenge the status quo.

An open, collaborative approach and comfort working across advocacy, research, member services, events and operations.
