Job Overview
Are you looking to build a long-term career in Property Management? We’re seeking a motivated Property Administrator to join our team in Calgary, AB. This is a part-time role (15–20 hours/week) with a hybrid schedule after training—one day in office, the rest from home.
No property management experience? No problem. This role is built for someone who is great with people, highly organized, and ready to learn. This role is designed for growth: you’ll gain direct exposure to both rental and condominium management, working alongside senior leadership, and progressing toward becoming a licensed Junior Property Manager by Spring of 2026. We’ll invest in your success with tuition reimbursement, mentorship, and hands-on training.
What You’ll Do - Administrative Duties
- Maintain the company’s main email inbox: respond to inquiries or forward them to the appropriate person
- Enter and update landlord/tenant information in our property management software
- Organize and maintain property keys
- Send out welcome packages to new tenants and new owners
- Manage questions from tenants and owners through their online portals, including setup and navigation support
- Send property-wide notices to tenants when required
- Log and process tenant maintenance requests through Property Meld, coordinating with vendors and following up as needed (overseen by senior team)
- Assist with special projects on the rental side, overseen directly by the CEO/Broker
- Support the condominium broker with publishing announcements in the condo portal, maintaining filing systems, and handling other administrative tasks as needed
- Support the condominium broker develop and implement forms, letters, and templates into Rent Manager
- Work collaboratively with the team while completing your RECA licensing courses, gaining hands-on training, and building the experience needed to step into a Junior Property Manager role with exposure to all areas of property management.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry knowledge: Property Management experience is preferred but not required
- Customer Service: Minimum 3 years of customer service experience — any background welcome (hospitality, retail, healthcare, admin, etc.)
- Communication: You write clear, professional emails and can hold your own on a phone call without freezing up
- Organization: You manage competing priorities without dropping the ball — digital and physical systems alike
- Problem-solving: When something comes up and no one's available, you figure it out and follow through
- Drive: You notice what needs doing and handle it without being asked — you're not waiting for someone to hand you a task list at every turn
- Technical: Comfortable with computers and smartphone apps; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are assets
- Logistics: Must live in Calgary, AB with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
- Flexibility: Available part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time role
