Housekeeper— Part-Time - Nights
Keep Cowboys Casino Spotless When the Crowds Clear Out
When thousands of guests leave Cowboys Casino after a big event, they leave behind a mess - restrooms that need deep cleaning, surfaces covered in fingerprints and spills, trash overflowing, and slot machines and table games that need to be wiped down for the next day. That's where you come in.
We're looking for housekeepers who take pride in transforming chaos back into a pristine entertainment destination. If you're detail-oriented, love seeing the direct results of your hard work, and don't mind tackling the messy reality of what thousands of guests leave behind, keep reading.
What your Shift Really Looks Like
- Deep clean restrooms throughout the casino - scrubbing toilets, sinks, floors, and mirrors until they shine, restocking supplies, and eliminating every trace of a busy night
- Clean all surfaces across the casino floor and back-of-house areas – from slot machines to table games, from beverage stations to chairs, you maintain pristine surfaces every day
- Empty trash and manage waste throughout the entire casino, keeping up with the volume that builds during busy event nights
- Adapt when events turn the casino into controlled chaos - when a concert or Flames game lets out, you shift gears to handle the surge of mess that floods in
- Work independently but stay connected - you're covering your zones solo, but jumping in to help teammates when the workload spikes
The Reality Check
This is night shift work in a 24/7 casino environment. You'll be on your feet for hours, bending, lifting, scrubbing, and moving constantly. Some nights are steady deep-cleaning work; other nights are absolute chaos when events let out and you're battling a tidal wave of mess in real-time.
Housekeepers who thrive here take pride in their work - they love seeing a filthy restroom transform into something spotless, and don't need someone watching over their shoulder to do the job right.
Here's What we Need from you
- Pride in your craft - you care about doing the job right, not just getting it done
- Ability to work independently - once you know your zones, you run them without supervision
- Detail-oriented eye - you spot the smudges, spills, and problems others would walk right past
- Physical capability to handle light and heavy-duty cleaning tasks, and stay on your feet for hours
- Flexibility under pressure - when 1,500 hockey fans create a disaster zone, you get it done
Experience & Qualifications
- Cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (but we'll train the right person)
- Able to speak and write fluent English
- Physical capability for extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work permit
- Must pass security background check
What You'll Get
- Part-time night shift position with a consistent schedule and fast-track opportunities to full-time
- Work with a team of housekeepers who have your back
- Training on all procedures to set you up for success
- Benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage
- The satisfaction of seeing tangible results from your hard work every single shift
Not Right For you if...
- You need constant supervision or direction
- You're looking for a quiet, low-pressure cleaning job
- You can't handle working around the aftermath of intoxicated guests
- You want day shift work
Perfect For you if...
- You take genuine pride in transforming messy spaces into clean ones
- You love seeing immediate results from your efforts
- You can work independently and stay motivated without someone watching
- You want to master your craft and be part of a team that maintains high standards
