Job Summary
Staybridge Suites Aurora East is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Part-Time Hotel Houseperson to join our housekeeping team. The Houseperson plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining public areas and supporting the housekeeping department.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, public washrooms, fitness center, and other guest areas.
- Support Room Attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies.
- Remove trash and transport soiled linens to designated areas.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize public spaces according to hotel standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
- Assist with moving furniture, setting up meeting spaces, and completing special projects as assigned.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items.
- Keep housekeeping storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
- Work cooperatively with all hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be flexible and available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
