Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team in the dairy industry. As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment used in the dairy processing and packaging process. This is a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality products.
Duties:
- Separating & pasteurizing milk
- Blending dry milk ingredients & other added ingredients (stabilizers, sugar, etc)
- Processing fluid milk products
- Ensure that products are manufactured within allowable composition specifications
- Properly maintain processing charts & documents
- CIP and sanitation of the blend room, processing area & HTST
- Sanitary maintenance of the processing & blend room equipment
- General housekeeping & sanitizing of the processing area
- Any other duties as reasonably assigned
Requirements:
- Previous Process operator experience
- WHMIS
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Health and Safety Procedures
- Quality Control procedures
- Mobile Equipment (Walkie / Forklift) license is an asset
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Basic computer skills/literacy
- Physically able to lift 25 Kgs
