Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks and food prep personnel
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure dishes meet quality standards
- Responsible for food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene compliance
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
- Support restaurant management in implementing operational policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and uphold high standards of food quality
- Assist with menu planning and creation for the club
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively
- Pub-style menu experience preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Previous kitchen experience in a reputable restaurant or hospitality environment is essential
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience in a casual club environment.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
