Impact Construction Inc. is looking for an experienced Working Construction Foreman to lead crews on commercial construction projects throughout Edmonton and Alberta.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside the crew. The successful candidate will be a skilled tradesperson with strong leadership abilities, exceptional knowledge of construction practices, and extensive experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise construction crews on commercial job sites.
Work alongside the crew while maintaining productivity and quality.
Plan daily work activities and delegate tasks effectively.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and material deliveries.
Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Perform site inspections and resolve issues before they impact production.
Enforce company safety policies and Alberta OHS regulations.
Complete daily reports, site documentation, and timesheets.
Train, mentor, and support crew members.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience. References required.
Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or Construction Supervisor.
Expert knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment.
Ability to safely operate and train others on a wide variety of construction tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic with the ability to motivate and manage crews.
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel and work out of town as required.
Preferred Qualifications
First Aid/CPR Certification.
Fall Protection Certification.
Elevated Work Platform Certification.
Telehandler, skid steer, or forklift experience.
COR or other safety training is considered an asset.

Pay: $27.58-$48.65 per hour
