Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard/Bouncer to ensure the safety and security of our venue, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle various security situations with confidence. This role is essential in maintaining a safe environment and preventing incidents through proactive monitoring and enforcement of policies.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and verify identification when necessary
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Enforce venue rules and regulations, including age restrictions and conduct policies
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, including crowd control as needed
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with management regarding security concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during serious incidents or investigations
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required; relevant training will be provided
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and stand for extended periods is necessary
