Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic Pizza team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste, while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled following food safety guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including appetizers and salads.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality food preparation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
