About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and safety-focused Supervisor/Foreman to lead field operations on construction, demolition, and hazardous materials abatement projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily site activities, maintaining quality standards, enforcing safe work practices, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction, demolition, and abatement activities.
- Lead crews, subcontractors, and coordinate daily work assignments.
- Plan mobilization, demobilization, manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
- Conduct Daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA’s).
- Ensure all work complies with company policies, client requirements, and applicable legislation.
- Lead weekly toolbox meetings and promote a positive safety culture.
- Monitor work quality and ensure projects meet specifications and schedules.
- Maintain daily communication with Project Managers regarding progress, scheduling, and site issues.
- Train, mentor, and support new employees.
- Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and project records.
- Respond to incidents and participate in investigations and corrective actions when required.
- Build positive working relationships with clients, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Assist with equipment, material, and resource planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in construction, demolition, and/or hazardous materials abatement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience leading crews in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Working knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation and safe work practices.
- Experience conducting FLHA’s, toolbox meeting’s, and site inspections.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Required:
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License.
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS
- Standard First Aid
