Sales Representative, AVS Department

Salary:
- 54,000 to $60,000, based on experience plus commission

- Monday to Friday

Location:
- Greater Sudbury, ON: current resident or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in security systems, telecommunications, IT, or a related industry.
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business.
- Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, nurse call, PA systems, or networking is considered an asset.
Education:
- High School Diploma required
- Vocational diploma, college certificate or diploma in Business/Commerce/Marketing/Electrical/Instrumentation or related field
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify sales opportunities and generate new business within Northern Ontario.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and bid documents.
- Conduct customer meetings and site visits.
- Present Spectrum's security and telecommunications solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customer solutions.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer information.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities.
- Coordinate project handoffs with operations following successful sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain organized sales records and report month-end goal setting to the senior management team,
- Arrange for creation and distribution of presentations and supporting documents.
- Support senior management by completing orders and keeping customers informed of delays and delivery dates,
- Monitor and organize inventory while effectively tracking new services and products for sale,
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s G license with acceptable driver abstract,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Must be able to travel to other locations and capability to maintain a clean driving record,
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products,
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control, nurse call, PA systems, or networking is considered an asset,
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new sales with customers, including add-on services,
- Be strongly skilled in organization, problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking while being committed to excellence
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass the security police check,
- Bondable,
- Some out-of-town/overnight travel.
