Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product information and demos. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual skills and experience in technology or retail sales are a plus. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and sales processing
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about merchandise
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and receipt issuance
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Support team members in achieving sales goals through effective communication and teamwork
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Bilingual abilities (English plus another language) are highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude aligned with customer service standards
Pay: $15.00-$29.50 per hour
