Overview
Full time office position with established trucking and excavating company based in North Vancouver for 30 years. We are looking for a candidate that has experience with full cycle bookkeeping, customer service, and some dispatch.
Duties
- General office duties, emailing, Microsoft office.
- Customer service, taking customer information for dispatch and customer correspondence.
- knowledge and experience in simply accounting.
- Full cycle bookkeeping.
- Payroll
- Government remittances/ WCB remittances.
- GST/PST payroll remittances.
- Reconciling Bank and Credit Card Statements
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective phone etiquette and customer service skills for customer interactions
- Clerical experience in an office setting, including filing, document management, and administrative support
- Strong computer skills
- English as a main language
- Willing to learn and grow with the company
