We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Community Support Worker / Case Manager who enjoys working directly with people and travelling throughout Alberta to connect individuals with the supports and services they need.

About the Role
Reporting to the Programs & Services Manager, you'll play an important role in expanding VAD's Community Outreach & Inclusion Program while providing individualized support to Albertans with disabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals in completing applications for AISH, ADAP, CPP-D, the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), and other disability-related programs.
- Assisting clients in navigating government and community services.
- Providing one-on-one case management and person-centred support.
- Delivering educational presentations and outreach sessions throughout Alberta.
- Building relationships with community organizations, service providers, and local stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate client records and case documentation.
- Participating in community events, resource fairs, and awareness initiatives.
This position involves regular travel throughout Alberta and is ideal for someone who enjoys working both in the office and in the community.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in human services, disability services, case management, community outreach, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or other vulnerable populations.
- A diploma or degree in Human Services, Social Work, Disability Studies, Community Support, or a related discipline is considered an asset. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Alberta, including occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Salary: $31.00–$33.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Part-Time, 6-Month Contract (21 hours/week)
Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday | 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch break, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
