Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to oversee activity within the premises
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify any suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Enforce access control protocols by checking credentials and managing visitor logs
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including providing assistance as needed
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures to uphold a secure environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security protocols is highly desirable
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrol duties as needed

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
