Yard Associate / Yard Technician – Full TimeIndustrial Gas & Welding Supply
We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Yard Associate to join our team. Experience in industrial gases, propane, welding supplies, warehouse work, or forklift operation is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading cylinder trucks using a forklift in the mornings and evenings
- Filling propane tanksRe-certifying and repairing propane cylinders
- Filling industrial gas cylinders including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, CO2, and MIG gasMonitoring and maintaining adequate stock levels for upcoming deliveries and customer demand
- Receiving and unloading supplier deliveries throughout the day
- Assisting customers with loading and unloading cylinders into vehicles
- Painting and maintaining cylinders
- Keeping the yard clean, safe, and organized
- General warehouse and yard duties as required
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Ability to lift and handle heavy cylinders/materials
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset
- Experience in industrial gas, welding, construction, or warehouse environments preferred
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
