About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative, relationship-driven Marketing Manager to serve as the brand voice and digital growth engine of our marketing department. You will work directly alongside the Head of Marketing to drive digital customer acquisition, brand reputation, and corporate lead conversion across our 5 Ignite Pizzeria locations and our premium import brand, Gaia Oliva.
You will own our local PR, scale our influencer gifting programs, manage our digital communities, write compelling email marketing campaigns, and qualify high-ticket corporate catering leads.
Key Responsibilities
1. PR, Media & Influencer Relations
- Influencer Gifting & Seeding: Design, pitch, and manage our influencer campaigns. Build and maintain our database of local Vancouver and US food/lifestyle creators, coordinate the mailing of product boxes (especially for Gaia Oliva), and track creator deliverables and coverage.
- Media & PR Outreach: Build and nurture direct relationships with local food critics, lifestyle publications (e.g., Gastown Magazine, local BIAs), and news editors. Coordinate press kits, media tastings, and launch events.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as the human connection on our social feeds, turning digital followers and local creators into long-term brand advocates.
- 3rd Party Platform & Vendor Management: Own relationships with external platforms and service vendors (e.g., delivery aggregators, review platforms, marketing tools). Manage onboarding, performance tracking, and day-to-day communication to ensure partnerships deliver measurable value.
2. Content Coordination & Community Management
- Creative Specialist Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for our freelance photographer and graphic designer. Co-create shoot briefs, coordinate monthly shoot days, and ensure finished assets are delivered on time.
- Multi-Platform Scheduling: Manage the digital content calendar and schedule pre-produced, high-end visual assets across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profiles.
- Community Management: Own the daily community interactions, direct messages (DMs), and comments on our social feeds with a warm, high-touch, hospitable approach.
- Live Capture: Visually capture raw, real-time "live" moments (behind-the-scenes, daily kitchen operations) to keep our daily Instagram and TikTok Stories dynamic and authentic.
3. Email Marketing & Catering Lead Management
- Email Newsletters: Write, and launch consumer and B2B email newsletters (Mailchimp), optimizing subscriber segmentation and automated flows.
- Catering Pipeline: Manage, qualify, and convert incoming corporate catering and B2B inquiries from our website. Send menus, follow up promptly, and build lasting relationships with local office managers.
4. Project Management & Team Alignment
- Operational Alignment: Collaborate with our Local Operations Specialist (Marianna) to ensure digital promotions align perfectly with physical store operations, print menus, and in-store signage.
- Internal Communications: Support cross-functional communication, ensuring campaign updates, timelines, and priorities are clearly documented and shared.
- Performance Tracking: Help compile weekly campaign performance data (email open rates, social engagement, and lead conversion rates) for review with the Head of Marketing.

- A Storyteller and Writer: You have exceptional copywriting skills. You can write a punchy Instagram caption, a professional B2B email pitch, and an engaging customer newsletter.
- Highly Organized: You excel at managing project timelines, tracking creator deliverables, and making sure freelancers hit their deadlines.
- AI-Fluent: You leverage AI tools daily to supercharge your copywriting (newsletters, pitches), analyze customer sentiment, and optimize your workflows.
- Local to Vancouver: Able to visit our locations (Gastown, Yaletown, Mount Pleasant, South Surrey, and soon North Vancouver) for on-site content capture.
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
