Metal Door Fabricator

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $22/hour
Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Metal Door Fabricator to join our team in Woodbridge, ON. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in metal door fabrication, brake press operation, and the assembly of metal doors and frames. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a stable work environment and opportunities for career growth.
Please Note: This position is open to Permanent Residents (PR) and Canadian Citizens only.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble hollow metal doors and frames according to specifications.
- Operate a brake press to bend metal components accurately.
- Perform door assembly, bending, gluing, and finishing tasks.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal door fabrication is required.
- Hands-on experience operating a brake press.
- Experience assembling, bending, and gluing metal doors and frames.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Permanent Resident (PR) or Canadian Citizen status is required.
