We support families in Surrey to receive respite for their special needs youth or child.
We are looking for experienced, committed caregivers to work with Youth and Children with developmental disabilities afterschool, evenings and weekends.
Respite Caregivers: Child and Youth Services
Caregivers must have a minimum of 1 years experience supporting youth and children with a special need.
Respite is provided out in community and can include activities such as going for walks, swimming, bowling and more.
Respite is provided throughout Surrey and is a match for Caregivers bordering Langley, Delta, White Rock and New Westminster.
Caregivers are contracted with SACL and must provide the following documentation:
*First Aid/CPR
*Criminal Record Search (forms provided)
*Drivers Abstract
*Doctors Note
*Caregivers also will fill in a Respite Application
*3 References (forms provided)
