- Proficiently performing log auditing for each driver to make sure they are in compliance with hours of service for DOT & MTO.
- Inspect driver's hours of service compliance
- Responsible for collecting and auditing them
- Respond to the monthly missing/delinquent Driver daily Log report and assist with all aspects of safety compliance
- Regularly monitoring Federal and Provincial safety regulations to keep current with safety and compliance programs and to implement changes
- Assist in recruiting qualified Owner Operators and Company Drivers
- Analyse and generate reports as needed.
- Perform other administrative and general tasks as they arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1 year experience working in the Safety & Compliance Department.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good time management with an ability to prioritize and delegate work amongst a group
Computer proficiency - excellent MS Office skills, must be comfortable with new software and interfaces
