Luxury Service Attendant
August Garage is currently searching for an organized, high-energy and dependable Luxury Service Attendant for our expanding Service Department. The ideal candidate would be hard-working, outgoing and efficient. Candidates with experience in both the Automotive Service industry as well as customer service are preferred.
August Garage is August Motorcars’ dedicated facility offering complete auto repair, maintenance, vehicle modification, and performance tuning services for all types of cars and trucks in Kelowna, BC. This is a constantly evolving, hybridized position with several moving parts. We operate in a fast-paced environment so the optimal candidate would be both dynamic and forward thinking.
Job Description and Duties
- Enhance the customers' positive service experience by driving them to, or picking them up from their preferred locations while service is being performed on their vehicles
- Sweep, mop, and clean service areas including technician bays, client areas, lunch room and service lot
- Keep the lot neat and orderly, move cars as directed by management in accordance with dealership display standards
- Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles to meet company standards and customer expectations
- Port vehicles safely to and from the Showroom and the Service Department
- Assisting the Sales and Service teams with vehicle preparations, ensuring they are ready for service appointments.
- Perform general Service department errands as requested
Required Skills and Experience:
- Luxury vehicle valet or porter experience is preferred
- Technologically proficient is preferred
- A valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract is required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written)
- Above-average problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
