Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to provide in-home and on-demand care to patients across diverse settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver physiotherapy services in patients’ homes or on-demand locations, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures during home visits or on-demand sessions.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with relevant licensing authorities.
- Prior experience in hospital settings, acute care, pediatrics, or patient care is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients effectively.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for home visits.
