Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves providing prompt and professional roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, and towing services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience in commercial driving. Duties
- Operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, including accidents, breakdowns, and parking violations.
- Perform basic vehicle assessments and minor automotive repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including time, location, and vehicle details.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and operated according to safety standards.
- Assist with vehicle loading and unloading using appropriate tools such as forklifts when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and ensuring their needs are met professionally.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during operations to ensure personal and public safety.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or towing is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and automotive repair is a strong plus.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving; clean driving record required.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and safety procedures related to towing operations.
