Title: Licensed Practical Nurse, Acute/Medical/Surgical
Location: British Columbia sites including: Kamloops, Vernon, Penticton, Trail
Type: Travel Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
Pay Range: $42-52/hour, T4 or incorporated options
As an Acute/Medical Surgical LPN, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, you will:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition

Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments safely

Provide post-operative and acute medical care
-
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing documentation

Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge planning, and health management

Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
-
Promote patient safety while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care and/or Medical Surgical LPN experience

Experience working in a busy acute care hospital setting

Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
