Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Uniform Protection Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement or security, with experience in surveillance and loss prevention. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. The Uniform Protection Officer will be responsible for monitoring activities through patrolling designated areas and maintaining a secure environment at all times.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other unlawful activities (loss prevention).
- Document incidents accurately and thoroughly in reports for record-keeping and further investigation.
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
- Maintain a visible presence in uniform to promote safety and security within the premises.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, private security, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with team members and the public.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during emergency situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and legal considerations related to security operations.
