Pilemaster is an independently owned company with the head office in Grande Prairie, Alberta, in the hub of the Oil & Gas industry. Supplying and installing piles for gas plants, power plants, battery sites, pipelines, pipeline risers, pumpjacks, camps, commercial buildings, municipalities, school additions, towers, light standards, grain bins, modular homes and more. What you do:
- Operate heavy machinery including piledrivers, excavators, loaders, cranes/pickers and tractor trailer with booster and jeep.
- Heavy haul of material and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained
- Assist with loading, and unloading materials using various equipment
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime
What you need:
- Experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with experience
- Valid oil and gas tickets (First Aid, H2S, CSO, Ground Disturbance Level 2, Fall Arrest)
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with construction, facility and plant site safety procedures
- Oilfield experience is an asset
