Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to customer care in a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities
- Assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Ensure the treatment area is clean, sanitized, and well-organized before and after each session
- Uphold all safety protocols and hygiene standards in accordance with licensing regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and post-care instructions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed
