Solstice Landscape Maintenance is a family-owned and operated company specializing in professional lawn maintenance and sidewalk snow removal services for multi-family, residential, and commercial properties throughout Edmonton. We have proudly served Edmonton for over 18 years, and many of our team members have been with us long-term.
We are currently hiring reliable and hard-working crew members to join our lawn maintenance team for the summer season, with the opportunity to transition into winter snow removal work for year-round employment.
Summer Responsibilities
- Commercial lawn mowing using push mowers and ride-on equipment
- Line trimming and edging
- Hedge trimming, weeding, and property clean-up
- Garbage and litter pick-up on managed properties
- Working efficiently as part of a crew to complete daily routes
- Accurate reporting of completed work, site conditions, hazards, and time tracking
- Reporting job site hazards, damages, irrigation issues, and other property concerns to management
- Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude on customer properties
Winter Responsibilities (Optional Year-Round Opportunity)
- Sidewalk snow removal using shovels, backpack blowers, snow blowers, and power brushes
- Ice checks and sanding between snowfalls
- Filling and maintaining sand bins
- On-call work based on snowfall events
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable team members who show up consistently and are ready to work
- Ability to follow direction and communicate professionally with supervisors and coworkers
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of completing full workdays involving walking and equipment operation
- Experience with lawn maintenance or snow removal equipment is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract are considered an asset
- Reliable transportation to and from work is required
Summer Schedule
- Full-time seasonal position (ideally year round)
- Monday to Friday with exceptions for bad weather
- Occasional weekends may be required during peak periods or to make up for weather-related delays
